We are a local, family owned and operated business, who as animal lovers truly understand that the passing of a pet, is like losing a precious family member. Pet Cremation is just one way to honour your best mate, who we know has always been there for you, right till the end.

Paws for Thought is run by Tracey and Billy (alongside their kennels and cattery business) and has been operating under the watchful gaze of Mt Taranaki since 2014. We support New Plymouth, Waitara, Bell Block, Stratford, Hawera, Inglewood and South Taranaki pet owners.

Located in the peaceful Egmont Village, Paws for Thought is dedicated to serving families in need during the most difficult time of being a pet owner. We offer a full pick up (collection from all North and South Taranaki Vet Clinics) and drop-off service for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rodents, reptiles, birds and other small pets at our onsite crematorium.
